OREANDA-NEWS More than 4,000 foreign participants from 97 countries are expected at the fifth BRICS Games, which will be held from June 12 to 23 in Kazan at 16 sports venues.
The Games in 2024 will be held within the framework of Russia’s presidency of the BRICS association.
As previously noted by Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Alexey Morozov, about 5 thousand participants will take part in the competition, more than 4 thousand of them from other countries.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that representatives of 97 countries had confirmed their participation in the competition. The final sports program of the games included 27 sports. A total of 387 sets of awards will be awarded.
