On July 7, the third and final day of the 2024 European Championships (U20) in freestyle wrestling took place in Novi Sad.
Russian athletes showed excellent results at the European Championships, winning 10 out of 10 possible medals. The competition in Novi Sad ended in triumph for the Russian wrestlers, who won 7 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals. And although the team competed under a neutral flag, their performances were unparalleled at this tournament.

Adam Arkhiev (65 kg) – silver
Tamir Yeshinimaev (74 kg) – bronze
Shamkhan Nukhaev (97 kg) – silver
Together with Greco-Roman wrestlers, the Russian team collected 10 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals, demonstrating outstanding athletic training and skill.
Russian athletes were outside the team ranking due to neutral status, but looking at the results, there is no doubt that they performed better than other teams.
