Three Russian trucks loaded with fruits, seedlings, seedlings, flower roots and wood were detained at the Russian-Kazakh border in the Pavlodar region and were sent back due to violations of phytosanitary standards. This is reported by Kazinform news agency.
According to the agency, there were no phytosanitary certificates for quarantined products during the shipment.
According to the Pavlodar Regional Territorial Inspection Committee of the State Inspection in the Agro-industrial complex, 1,949 quarantine phytosanitary certificates have been issued since the beginning of the year. As a result of the conducted examinations, 8 quarantine facilities were identified. In case of violation of phytosanitary requirements, 3 trucks carrying quarantined products were returned to the exporting country.
“There are 5 phytosanitary control posts in the Pavlodar region on the border with the Altai Territory, Omsk and Novosibirsk regions of the Russian Federation. According to the results of their work, quarantine phytosanitary control of 13.8 thousand trucks with quarantined products has been carried out since the beginning of the year, of which 8 thousand trucks with quarantined products in the amount of 65 thousand tons have been imported,” the ministry added.
