Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov, known for his play with FC Krasnodar and being a teammate of Eduard Spertsyan, has signed a contract with French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to information provided by Transfermarkt, the Parisian club paid Krasnodar 20 million euros for the player’s transfer.
“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain, one of the greatest clubs in terms of its history and track record. I am already looking forward to meeting my new teammates, defending my new colors, and making the fans proud of me. Let’s go, Paris!” said Matvei Safonov.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract with PSG until 2029.
