Sergey Grigorievich, founder of GSC Game World, spoke about the status of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, confirmed the release date, and offered an interesting challenge.
Grigorovich spoke about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and more in an interview with Vladimir Zolkin. He confirmed November 20 as the release date and the absence of the Russian language in the game: «I want to «congratulate» Russians that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will be released, but not in Russian». Of course, the game will not be released in Russia.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 should be released in a satisfactory technical condition. According to Grigorovich, the game crossed the line when the number of bugs does not affect perception and commercial success. The previous postponements annoyed fans, but they were caused by a large number of errors:
«Any product that is released is released with bugs. There’s just a line above which the number of bugs makes a project crumble. You need to cross this line. Usually, 200 people test a product. And then a million-strong audience joins in and tests the project statistically much better. And the test department quickly fixes these bugs, quickly makes patches. And the project does not lose sales. That’s why we put it off until the moment when we’re no longer ashamed. There will still be bugs, and they will be patched. There are so few bugs that we are no longer ashamed to release and not afraid of the» circulation.
As for the Russian ship, the businessman is referring to the frigate «Admiral Grigorovich». For its sinking, he promises to give away his Rolls-Royce, which is currently worth up to $500,000. The car is in Spain, and Grigorovich is ready to transfer it to Germany or drive it to Ukraine.
«I talked to the guys who are in this thread and promised a tidy sum for them to sink him. Just for the simple reason that it shames my name. …I am ready to give away the Rolls-Royce. In real terms, it’s worth $300 thousand, if put up for auction, $500 thousand»
