The player of the Armenian youth national team and FC Van, Edgar Piloyan, will soon sign a contract with the Bulgarian club “Botev” (Plovdiv).

The Bulgarian site plovdivnews.bg reports that Edgar Piloyan has already started training with the “Botev” (Plovdiv) club.

It is notable that “Botev” belongs to businessman Anton Zingarevich, who has also been associated with “Van” and Piloyan’s former club “Vista” (Gelendzhik).

Edgar Piloyan moved to “Van” this winter and played 16 matches in the Armenian championship, scoring 1 goal. He also has 8 matches with the Armenian youth national team.

In the recently concluded Bulgarian championship season, “Botev” took 7th place but won the Bulgarian Cup, defeating “Ludogorets” in the final. Thus, “Botev” will play in the qualification round of the 2024/25 Europa League season.
