The 33rd Summer Olympic Games will soon begin in Paris, but many doubt their success due to political problems and other factors. Famous athletes in various sports, including current Olympic champions, will not participate in these games.

It is also known that for unknown, but probably political reasons, many Russian Olympic champions in freestyle wrestling, such as Abdulrashid Sadulaev, Zavur Uguev and Zaurbek Sidakov, who could add new highlights to these Olympic Games, will not be able to participate.

There will not be a single reigning Tokyo Olympic champion at the Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling, which is very sad.

57kg – Zavur Uguev (Russia) – IOC refusal to participate

65kg – Takuto Otoguro (Japan) lost at the qualifying tournament to get into the Olympic squad.

74kg – Zaurbek Sidakov (Russia) – IOC refusal to participate

86kg – David Taylor (USA) – loss in the qualifying tournament to get into the Olympic squad.

97kg – Abdulrashid Sadulaev (Russia) – IOC refusal to participate
